Barracks Lane Allotments Association Summer Open Day
Sunday 17th July 11am – 4pm
Following the success of the recent Spring Social event, we’re now planning a summer open day to get people together, show of the allotments to the public and raise funds for the Association.
If you’d like to be involved PLEASE let us know as we’ll need volunteers, but if not please save the date & come along on the day to enjoy refreshments, have a chat and support BLAA
There will be various stalls and activities for all and the judging of the sunflower growing competition!
We’re also thinking of putting together a fund-raising BLAA cookery book of member’s recipes using allotment-grown ingredients – so if you have a favourite recipe (or two) that you’d like to share – preserves, cakes, savoury dishes etc – please let us know, all contributors will be acknowledged in print!
